Students are welcome to drop in any time at 1403 University Ave. for Open Labs, Build Nights, hackathons, and other events. These sessions are open to all and are a great way to experiment with new tools, meet collaborators, and try out early concepts.

If you want to actively work on a project — something that needs mentorship, equipment, team members, or other support — you’ll need to submit a brief proposal. This helps us understand your goals and determine how the Lab can best support you.

Students can submit project proposals for Spring 2026 when applications open January 15, 2026.
