The UW Tech Exploration Lab is hiring Student Assistants to help build and deploy real solutions across campus and beyond.
These are applied, hands-on roles for students who want experience beyond the classroom — working at the intersection of emerging technology, entrepreneurship, and industry innovation.
We are currently hiring for:
AI & Technical Builders
Work on applied AI systems, cloud infrastructure, and tools designed for real-world use. Help move solutions from prototype to production across multiple platforms.
Creative Strategy
Support storytelling, multimedia content, and digital presence. Help shape how the Lab communicates its work and elevate student projects through compelling creative execution.
Brand & Marketing
Support campaigns, partner communications, and brand execution. Work alongside Lab leadership to strengthen positioning and engagement across campus and industry.
All roles are approximately 10–12 hours per week and paid hourly.
