Curious how emerging technology, entrepreneurship, and real-world problem-solving come together at UW–Madison? The Tech Exploration Lab is opening its doors for an informal fall kickoff mixer — and everyone’s invited.
Join us on Monday, September 14, from 5:30–7:00 PM at 1403 University Ave. There’s no agenda and no pressure — just a chance to have some pizza, meet the people building things there, and see how you can plug into innovation this semester.
What’s happening this fall
This is also your first look at the full slate of fall programming, including:
- Venture Discover / Explore
- Venture Build, which pairs students with MBA teams
- BuildFest, coming up later this September
- Build Nights and other Lab events running throughout the semester
- The January 2027 SF trip for founders
Whether you’ve got a startup idea, a curiosity about emerging tech, or you just want to see what the Lab is about, this is the easiest way in. Light refreshments will be available, and current students, campus partners, and anyone else interested in learning more are all welcome.
