Summer is officially underway and if last night’s kickoff was any indication, it is going to be a great one. We were thrilled to have Tyler Waite, co-founder of Holos and UW-Madison alum, set the tone at this week’s Kickoff with his founder story and remind us why building at the frontier of emerging technology matters.
Here is what is ahead.
Industry Hackathons
Two industry-sponsored hackathons, each built around a real problem with cash prizes. In July, our Spatial Intelligence Hackathon challenges teams to find the commercial opportunity at the intersection of AI, augmented reality, and indoor positioning in clinical settings. In August, our AI in Finance Hackathon puts student teams in front of strategic challenges facing credit unions today, with AI as the toolkit.
