The UW Tech Exploration Lab is hiring for 2026–27.
We’re expanding our student team to work on applied AI and emerging technology — real projects, real industry partners, real outcomes.
These positions are for the academic year 2026-27 and a minimum of a one-year academic year commitment is preferred.
Open positions:
Graduate students & post-docs Leadership Fellows in industry projects, research translation, venture development, and industry & alumni engagement — up to 20 hours/week at $25/hour.
Undergraduates Technical Builders working on AI, blockchain, XR, and frontier tech prototypes — plus roles in events & operations, student engagement, and communications — 10–15 hours/week at $15/hour.
This is hands-on work alongside Lab leadership, industry partners, and alumni. Not a classroom exercise.
